Before coming to Iowa, I served as associate pastor at a 6 congregation Geo-parish and third time as a chaplain at the local nursing home in North Dakota. I served on the board of Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota and the Nomination Committee of the Eastern North Dakota Synod. I have been a chaplain of the North Iowa Detachment of the Marine Corps League, and have also served the Northeastern Iowa Synod as a member of the Nomination Committee, Conference Chaplain, Conference Treasurer, and Conference correspondent.
